I think Brené's writing and speaking is so essential and relevant for us today. We need more courage, more understanding, more awareness. We need people who know they are worthy, who know their gifts, who know they belong.
I love that her research tells its own story; has its own cleverly crafted narrative.
I like that she employs grounded theory methodology, a qualitative style of academic research that gathers information through interviews and stories.
I admire that she must have spent hundreds of hours carefully and painstakingly coding her data. Imagine how complex your story would be, and then multiply that by thousands of interviewees. That is dedication.
Most of all, I love that her research is enabling people worldwide to become more authentic, kind and compassionate, and to live wholehearted lives.
May her research and stories open your heart, deepen your authenticity and enable true connection to your humanity and our global community.
