All You Need To Know Is You Were Born Of Water

I was inspired by the image in this blogpost by Mysi and the accompanying words from Cloud Cult (see end of blog).

It seems to perfectly match the culmination of this year’s soul work and the extraordinary changes that are taking place around us.

Personally, this song - one of many written about the death of singer/songwriter Craig Minowa’s young son - resonates with my experience of miscarriage this year.

And I wonder if there is a collective movement of water, connected to all those who have lost babies… sons, daughters, grandsons and granddaughters.

In a way this post is an extension of the summary of the year to date, a sub-theme to the overarching changes that have washed over us in 2019.

It’s certainly been a year of Water.

We came back to the place of our beginnings - to our Home - to the Source, to the original mother and to the Earth.

This is our place of Water.

We are made from her, we return to her.

And now we honour her.

These lyrics seem to capture the energy and spirit of the year’s learning, grieving, healing and truth. And of course, I love the green ethical credentials of Cloud Cult so even more reason to celebrate their visionary music.
