Live Your Own Dream - Not Somebody Else's

How often have you looked at someone else and thought “I wish”?

How often have you looked at yourself and said “I can’t”?

Do you feel a sense of incompleteness or restriction of your inner self?

If the above ring true for you, then it is vital that you reconnect with your own dream - and not somebody else’s.

We can easily get caught in other people’s ‘dream nets’: when we want quick answers, when we want to hold onto something that feels sure and certain, when we don’t know how to connect with ourselves.

We can stumble into them by accident, live through someone else because it’s easier or safer for us somehow, or buy into something that glitters.

But as the saying goes: all that glitters is not gold.

We have to discover our own inner gold, our inner light that holds the spark of our Dream.

We have to dig deep, reflect upon ourselves and spend time with our Soul to uncover our true Dream.

You must live your own dream, and not somebody else’s.

Your purpose, your mission, your reason for being.

“I should” or “I can’t” often reveal the places we feel forced to dance to somebody else’s tune or the places we feel blocked and unable to access. They speak of guilt, fear or a lack of self-belief and confidence.

Wherever these have come from - whether self-generated to keep us small (and safe), whether remembered from another life, or whether handed down from previous generations - we must persevere, staying true to our path and consulting with our Soul whenever we are unsure of the next step of our Dream.

And then we must do the work of living it wholly and completely, of loving and embracing our Dream.

Your dream becomes the partner you dance with to the tune of Life, your spark and your essence lighting up the world.

Dream richly, dance wildly dear Souls…
