Adventures in Creative Kinesiology: The Chakra of Brilliance
Some of the fantastic things about Creative Kinesiology is its imagination, discovery and (it's in the name!) creativity!
It draws upon centuries of Traditional Chinese Medicine, positive psychology, indigenous cultures and sacred practices, cosmology, ancient rituals, science and anatomy, dreams and the subconscious.
Creative Kinesiology also makes space for mystery, the unknown, the beyond...
which means that sometimes I will come across something I have never heard of before!
Introducing the Chakra of Brilliance...

The body system has many levels, including the subtle energy bodies. You will find plenty of information on these in yogic texts or acupuncture books.
There is so much that we do not see with our normal - limited - vision or perceive with our basic senses. Yet there is a wealth of information contained within our own system at the energetic level.
You can think of these as similar to physical features, or as a metaphor for the deeper functioning of our lives related to our purpose and path.
The Chakra of Brilliance is associated with the Rainbow Brain in Creative Kinesiology. This energy centre sits at the front, crown and back of the head along the centre line, about 1-2 inches away from the physical body. It is associated with the pineal and pituitary glands.
When activated and balanced the Chakra of Brilliance helps us to shine, to enjoy life and every moment, to feel alive and grateful, and to feel connected to the Earth. The gifts that we are able to offer to others and the world can shine with your full light and passion.
