A Few Lovely Thoughts on the Process of Healing
I was reading through the manual from the Way of the Tracker course, in preparation for the assessment, and came across a paragraph that really summed up the gorgeousness of Creative Kinesiology and its power to facilitate great healing.
I will share it with you too...
The Process of Healing
- Just as life is a personal story, so is the healing story for each of us
- We all have a rhythm and pace that is ours alone
- If we are to unravel our healing story we need the time to do so
- As we go through the process we need support for our story - a witness and an advocate for us
- As we heal we may show a side to ourselves that we don't like - we then need a practitioner who still accepts us
- Above all what we need is a patient, caring, allowing practitioner who has absolutely no expectations of our process, especially about the length of time this may take
I found these statements to be very empowering.
Each of us has our own story, and we have our own power to decide what we do with that story and what our healing looks like.
As a Creative Kinesiologist, every story I see is unique. As we unravel the complexity of your story, more and more of your presence, beauty and potential shines.
We are all different, and the unravelling of your story will take the time that you need. No-one else can say what this is. My role is to attune to you and walk alongside you at your pace. I have a strong faith in divine timing, which supports this attunement and pacing.
I am here to witness your story. There is great power and transformational potential available, simply by being heard. Listening is one of the artful skills that I bring as a practitioner.
I also champion you. To see you as a whole person, even while we focus on painful, difficult or shamed parts of yourself. To hold the space for integration of all of your experiences, for all parts of yourself.
I offer my purpose in this lifetime to walk with others on their healing journey. And I have been blessed with the gifts needed for this role: a calm, reassuring and kind energy.
I found these thoughts inspiring, powerful and beautiful. I hope you do too.
