Secrets and Truth Are Two Sides Of The Same Coin

We all have secrets in our own or our family’s history, often hidden in response to stigma, shame or societal expectations.

Some secrets are ugly, others are divine - but all secrets are limiting.

We may carry secrets about ourselves for fear of being ridiculed or rejected - even if these secrets are benign.

We may carry secrets for others, either consciously or unconsciously, no matter the harm that it causes to ourselves.

We are learning more and more about generations carrying the stories of their ancestors - often these come in the form of secrets or myths passed down through the family.

These secrets become heavy, and take an enormous amount of energy to carry around inside of you without relief. The body’s symptoms are often a good indicator of secrets and unresolved parts of us and our history.

When we are able to bring these secrets to the surface, we see that in reality these are simply truths.

Yes, they may be cold, sad, frightening or painful. And occasionally they may even be terrible. But when they become truths instead of secrets, we no longer have to hide ourselves from ourselves.

Not glossed over nor airbrushed, not glorified, not suppressed.

Liberated.

And all in the simple act of turning a coin.

Are you ready to recognise the truth of who you are?

Are you able to accept your past - yours and that of your ancestors?

Can you turn towards your secrets and face your fear, shame or pain with courage?

Can you see the shadow parts of yourself and open to the depths of wisdom they whisper to you?

If we can allow space to witness these secrets/truths then we can be truly liberated. The energy is unbound and freed to express your greatest truths, your desire for life and your soul’s fulfillment.

When we are aware that the only way to prevent the recurrence of old patterns - driven by secrets - is to recognise and honour them as truth, then we can move forwards with greater energy, freedom and integrity.

When you are able to recognise your truths instead of hiding from your secrets, you are able to appreciate the wisdom they offer to you, the wholeness they bring to your being, and your capacity to live authentically.

Secrets and truth are two sides of the same coin. One is turned downwards and inwards, buried within. The other faces upwards and outwards, with a sense of ownership and freedom.

When we know what we know and feel what we feel - then we are free.
