Emerging From The Darkness of The Chrysalis

The metaphor of a chrysalis seems to be an apt one for this eclipse season.

The change associated with this August season, and up to September 5th, is a complete transformation.

There is the opportunity for a fundamental shift in some of the deepest parts of our being. Something we have been focused on, or an old pattern, is ready for metamorphosis.

First we have to undergo the darkness of the cocoon.

Perhaps you find this comforting, nurturing and protective. Or perhaps you feel lost, uncertain or confused.

Know that this is a necessary stage of development to move us from one state to a new one (a better one).

Too often, we try and escape the darkness and our development. But, just like insects, we cannot skip this stage.

We have to learn to embrace the darkness. To be with ourselves, even when we can't see what is going on.

The gifts are greater than we can imagine from inside the chrysalis. Freedom, beauty and grace await.

If we tune into the natural cycles of nature, we will know that our time will come. Not only will we once again be reunited with the sunlight, we will also be greeted by a deeper connection to our Earth and we will be blessed with wings.

Whatever past limitation or restriction you are ready to let go of, allow the transformation to occur and embrace the darkness - for the light will greet you.
