When we see the soul in action in this way, we see the inner light of a person grow bright.

And this light inspires others.

This blog title is a modified line from the poem ‘The Cloths of Heaven’ by W B Yeats. I was given this poem some years ago now, and I love the sentiment and simplicity.

It spoke to me today while out walking, as a call to us collectively as human beings. We are living in a time of climate change, crisis and catastrophe on the Earth.

This is a delicate subject, but one I think about often.

Life can seem too hard sometimes, especially with the many tragic events that have happened recently in the UK.

People are struggling to find peace.

I think it is important to recognise that when we follow a heart-based path or soul calling, it does not mean it is easy.

It is likely that in the perseverance of a task or goal we will encounter any number of emotions, challenges, certainty and doubt.

We will be able to continue with more strength and self-compassion, when we appreciate the qualities that have got us to wherever we are - at the stages of conceptualisation, dreaming, exploration, action or development.
