The Strength of the Soul is Unimaginable
Very often, in the midst of difficulty or suffering it can be almost impossible to imagine that you are strong and your soul is invincible.
As humans, we feel weakness, failure and disconnection from our true self. We go through dark nights, feelings of helplessness or powerlessness. These are unavoidable aspects of the human experience.
Yet the soul perseveres and endures.
We rise up from oppression, we decide to heal and awaken our inner light.
We seek ways to reconnect to our soul, because - whether consciously or not - we know this is the strongest foundation we have.
Too often, we are taught to believe that strength is a show of domination, exertion or gripping tightly. This display of rigidity belies the true strength of flexibility, compassion and lightness of living.
True strength is a combination of purposefulness and beauty, tenacity and vulnerability, resolution and wonder.
I believe we go through many lifetimes, forging our path. We all live through challenges, pain and loss.
We all walk our path, discovering more of our true selves and our inner strength in the difficult places. Walking through fear, joy and heartbreak. Overcoming adversity in all of its forms.
The soul conquers death, with a grateful smile.
The soul moves from body to body, always remembering its purpose.
The soul travels lightly, with the strength of a hundred lifetimes and the light of a thousand stars.
Onwards, your soul travels.
We can barely begin to imagine the immense strength, resilience and fortitude of the soul, yet it resides within us.
Listen quietly, and see if you can glimpse a fraction of your soul's strength.
