Sleep helps you to maintain the healthy functioning of your body, immune system and cognitive processes.

It is a fundamental human need and a requirement for your health and wellbeing. Good sleep is the basis for vitality and energy in your waking hours.

With good quality and sufficient sleep, you can make healthier choices for your nutrition, relationships and life. You are less likely to reach for quick-fix food or caffeine in the day time, which only perpetuates the cycle of poor rest.

Reiki Healing is a deeply peaceful and calming treatment, which I personally find helps me to sleep restfully and wake up feeling energised.

I finish each day with a short Reiki self-treatment, sending this pure universal energy to my mind and body. I set my intention to ease into a deep, peaceful sleep, and to wake up feeling refreshed and ready for my day.

It is easy to find a way for you to include Reiki in your routine:

  • You could choose to have a Reiki Healing session in the evening, helping you shift into a relaxed state of body and mind.
  • You could become attuned to Reiki energy on a 'First Degree' Reiki course, and send relaxing and positive energy to yourself on a daily basis.

One of the most important aspects of Reiki is setting your intention, because the Reiki energy continues to flow even after the treatment itself. During a treatment, you can set your intention to carry the Reiki energy into your evening and night-time for restfulness.
