From Healing Comes Scar Tissue, But At Least It's Skin
Healing is a concept that is often romanticised. Dreaming of complete and total recovery without anything remaining of the original hurt and trauma.
This is too idealistic (and I say that as someone who is an idealist). Too perfect to be truly human.
I think the truth is more like scar tissue.
Healing Old Heart Walls With The Emotion Code
Optimal functioning of the Heart meridian includes feeling deep love and warmth for yourself and life, and being able to offer and receive this from others.
However, we will all have experienced some form of hurt where our protective instinct is to close off the heart to guard against future hurt.
Your Symptoms Add Up To A Story...
Your body is smart and vastly intelligent.
Your body holds the knowing of every experience you have ever had. Your body holds all of the records of your birth, growing up and adulthood.
Your body holds the stress, the trauma, the tension. Your body remembers the warmth, the holding, the goodness.

Creative Kinesiology Is An Inherently Right Hemispheric Therapy
In previous blogs, I have written about the left-hemispheric shifted culture we find ourselves immersed in - with many of the messages we receive outside of our conscious awareness, yet forming and shaping who we are and how we behave within society.
We can find balance when we lead from the right hemisphere's perspective, with support from how the left hemisphere of the brain likes to do things.
Creative Kinesiology has such a right-hemispheric leading approach embedded in the culture of its practice, in the facilitation of healing work, and in a different way of being in the world.

Emotional Balancing For The Jaw With Creative Kinesiology
I have written previously about the jaw, and what we can understand from its functioning about the health of our emotions and self expression. Read it again here
Let's look at balancing the jaw on an emotional level more closely, through a structural understanding of the joint.
Exploring Chinese Medicine: The Kidney & Bladder Meridians
As we approach winter in the Northern Hemisphere, the days are wrapping around us like a blanket, the air is cooling and deepening, and the ground shines with frost.
In Chinese Medicine, winter is the season of the Water element. And water is associated with mystery, emotion and the unconscious aspects of our life.
The two channels of the Water element in the body's energy system are the Kidney and Bladder meridians.
The Importance of Holistically Stretching & Releasing
This is a blog all about stretching and releasing...
Stretching and letting go at all levels of your being: physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually.
As you stretch, you grow. As you release, you allow the vitality of your soul to fill up those spaces.
It's Time to Heal From Past Emotional Wounds
How come there are so many people walking around today with unhealed emotional wounds?
In the process of human existence we are all hurt emotionally to some degree. Some people wear their wounds like badges of honour; others hide them away until they are out of sight.
It is time for a transformation - to turn suffering into freedom.
