The World Appears Like A Maze Of Mirrors

The world is like a maze of mirrors, reflecting back to us our true self.

Every person, relationship or situation will hold up a mirror to you - revealing a piece of who you are, a piece of your shadow, and a piece of your soul.

We think of these as triggers, irritations, annoyances, repeating cycles and patterns.

You know you have met a mirror when you are triggered into a reaction, when you repeat the story to others, when you jump into victim or persecutor role, or when you just can't shake the feeling.

When we can look directly back at the mirror - and look beyond - we see the truth.

This does not mean staying in an unhealthy situation. It does mean that self-reflection and inner transformation are essential to seeing the world as it really is - free from the filters of the past.

It is often hard to look yourself directly in the mirror, because of the traps of denial and, ultimately, fear.

Fear of seeing your shadow - your anger, rage, insecurity, misuse of power or ugliness.

And similarly, fear of seeing your light - your joy, your potential, your authentic power and your beauty.

They are equally hard to look at, the beauty and the dark.

If you have the courage to look into those mirrors around you, to find the story behind the glare, you will find an end to the untruths.

You will find your true light and darkness - your integrity. You will find solutions and absolutions to the repetitive karmic cycles. You will find your soul centre and your peace.

You will see the world as it really is: a sparkling sea of evolution.
